Is Pernol like other fish oils?
No. Pernol is extracted from Green Lipped Mussel, and contains a unique mix of omega-3 fatty acids. The patented processing of Pernol protects their activity. Pernol is 350 times more
effective in controlling inflammation than, for example, Salmon oil.
What are the advantages of Pernol over green lipped mussel powders?
Pernol has many advantages over green lipped mussel products which only contain the powder from the mussel. Only Pernol has a special patented extraction process which uses purely the oil.
• Mussel powders contain proteins, which can cause allergic reactions in some people. Since Pernol is an oil all the proteins have been removed
• Mussel powders contain sea salt, which can be a problem for people needing to stay on a low salt diet. Pernol contains no sea salts
• Because Pernol is a potent concentrate, the dose rate is far lower and the capsules are easier to take. The unpleasant odours associated with encapsulated mussel powders have been removed.
How long will it take to start feeling the benefits of Pernol?
As Pernol is a natural product, rather than a prescription medicine, different people take varying amounts of time before they start to see tangible results. In reality this means that some people experience good results in just 2-3 weeks; whereas it can take others a little longer who have a more acute or severe condition. The key is to take the correct amount of capsules with a glass of water at mealtimes.
How is Pernol different to cod liver oil?
Cod liver oil is not suitable for people with asthma, diabetes, a blood clotting disorder, or if you are taking Warfarin or other blood thinning medicines. Since I was a young man, I have been an avid biker, however in the last five years or so I have been using my motorbike less and less as I’m not as agile as I used to be and had great difficulty in getting onto the bike due to my hips tightening up. I don’t know how I actually got through each day before I started taking Pernol. I can remember waking up every morning and having to get out of bed very slowly as my knees were so sore.
